Here at Finders Keepers we have a 3 acre lake which is used for both fishing and also swimming. We cater for recreational fishing or those who have not fished before. Not suitable for Professional Fishermen due to our facilities etc.

If you wish to fish whilst staying with us you will require a fishing permit.

Fishing permits

You can buy your license from a tobacconist or tackle shop or get it online at cartedepeche.fr. The site is available in French, English, Spanish and German and will also give you information on the fishing areas available in each “department” (depending on the area, some of that information has not been translated). There are different types of permits available depending on the length of your stay, currently a weekly permit will cost €32. The permit is issued personally, and it requires photo identification on it.

Annual adult or Inter-Federation permit

The "Adult Permit" is best suited to those people who fish regularly throughout the year.

Valid for the entire year, it makes it possible to fish in first and second category waters, with all forms of fishing allowed.

The Inter-Federation Permit gives you the option of extending your angling area to other departments. 73 - 95 €

Women’s taster permit

This permit, which is aimed at women who are looking for an outdoor activity, enables budding female anglers to try fishing at an attractive price.

Valid throughout the year, it makes it possible to angle in first and second category waters. 32 €

Holiday Permit

Make it this year that you fish during the holidays!

This permit, which is valid for seven consecutive days, enables you to spend a week fishing in first or second category waters, with all forms of fishing allowed. New addition!

It is now available throughout the year. 32 €

Day Permit

Ideal for people with busy lifestyles, or fishing trips organised at the last minute, this permit makes it possible to spend a day fishing in first or second category waters, with all forms of fishing allowed. 12 €

We are not a professional lake and only cater for holiday guests who would like to try fishing. For those who do not own their own equipment there is a large selection available for use at no extra cost. You will be required to provide your own bait.

 

We have a wall of fame in the barn so guests can see the different type of fish our guests have caught whilst being here.

Please see below some of the catches this year. All fish have to be returned. We have a no kill policy.
